Marcos Puiggari, DVM
Dr. Puiggari is the principal veterinarian and owner of Alpine Veterinary Care. Marcos grew up in Oklahoma and has been a practicing veterinarian since 1988. He worked in Indiana before moving to Santa Fe, NM where he primarily worked as an emergency veterinarian, eventually becoming the Director of the Santa Fe Animal Emergency Center for over 10 years. Marcos loved doing emergency work and being able to ferret out complex diagnostic issues and performing complex surgeries.
Dr. Puiggari and his wife moved to Missoula Montana in order to raise a family. After moving to Missoula he worked as the Director of the Animal Emergency and then as an emergency veterinarian commuting to Ogden Utah. When the opportunity arose, Dr. Puiggari was able to assume ownership of Alpine Veterinary Care in 2011.
He enjoys interacting with his clients; both human and animal. Dr. Puiggari is dedicated to providing the best quality veterinary care possible, with skill and compassion to all animals and to helping their guardians achieve the best quality of life possible for their pets.

Jesse Hammond, Service and Support Supervisor, Receptionist
Working at Alpine Veterinary Care has made me appreciate the care and time needed to own a pet and how important they are to their owners. I was raised in Missoula and know first hand that we live in a pet friendly community.
At work, I always look forward to when new animals come in to see us, and I especially enjoy seeing a familiar tail. Our pet picture bulletin board is a great highlight in the lobby, and I love when clients point out their pets to me, or even better, when they bring a photo to post.
Dr. Marcos Puiggari and the rest of our staff are caring, knowledgeable, and dedicated, and we look forward to seeing you.

Alicia Pell, Human Resource Representative, Office Manager, Technician
I joined the Alpine team in 2015 after moving from Pennsylvania to the beautiful Missoula area. I graduated from Manor College with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology in 2011 and Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Drexel University in 2018. I have experience in opthalmology, emergency and critical care, as well as being an experienced surgical nurse. I love caring for each and every animal like they are my own. When not working, I enjoy hiking, camping, rock climbing, spending time with friends and family, and my service dog (drop out), Willow.
Alyssa Mallow, Technician
I was born and raised here in Missoula. I have worked in vet clinics since 2013. I love living in such a pet friendly area, that is also close to the outdoors. I enjoy being able to educate owners and help provide the best care possible.
Scott Labbate, Technician
I was born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania. Since I can remember, I have always watched tv and read books about wildlife. I started working in the veterinary field in 2007, and currently have one dog named Oozi. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting and fishing, camping, and exploring the land.
Cayden Nystul, Technician
I am currently a student at the University of Montana, majoring in Ecology and Organismal Biology, and I worked as a large animal veterinary technician prior to joining the team at Alpine. My wife and I have owned a total of four dogs, three horses, and three cats over the last four years here in Missoula - with five of those still trying to fight for a spot on the bed today. I enjoy assisting our amazing staff at Alpine, and look forward to providing your animal with the same level of care I would give my own.
